VEGEPOLYS VALLEY

VEGEPOLYS VALLEY is a competitiveness cluster bringing together nearly 600 actors, companies, research and training centers in the plant sector, to work on innovative projects designed to boost competitiveness. The cluster supports the generation of collaborative innovation projects in and around plant production. VEGEPOLYS VALLEY is based in 4 regions (Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Centre Val de Loire with a branch in Orléans, Auvergne Rhône Alpes) and covers the entire value chain, making it a unique cluster.

VEGEPOLYS VALLEY’s mission is to support and bring together all those involved in the plant industry, to create the plant-based innovations that will shape tomorrow’s world, and enable more competitive, higher-quality agriculture that respects the environment and human health.

Implications and links with Sycomore

VEGEPOLYS VALLEY leads the “Agro-sylvo-sciences training” component of Sycomore, alongside INRAE Val de Loire, University of Orléans, University of Tours and Fibois Centre-Val de Loire, and is involved in the socio-economic development of research.
